France

France has been an important part of our past.

We expect it to be one of the priorities of the future of JP’s Ability Hope.

JP is our last of 4 children.

Our Franco-American baby arrived in 2011.

His diagnosis of autism in 2014 led us to leave France & return to the U.S. for his long-terms special educational needs.

It appeared that the door to service in France quickly shut in 2014.

Surprisingly God seemed to reopen the France door in early 2023 through a dream.

This led to some (re)connections in France & to an initial vision trip in May/June 2023

I attended the 2023 annual weekend retreat of Famille, Je T’Aime for individuals & families affected by autism.

The next one will be in May 2025.

France is a very important country in the history of JP’s Ability Hope.

JP was born in Paris in 2011. After his Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis in 2014, our family moved back to the U.S. due to his longer term special educational needs.

In 2023, I discovered some newer disability ministry initiatives taking place there.

One priority of JP’s Ability Hope is supporting disability work in France.
